Workshop Overview
Discover the secrets to creating compelling landscape paintings with award-winning, internationally renowned artist David Goatley. Explore how to capture the essence of nature by focusing on composition, identifying a strong motif, and constructing your painting step by step.
Weather permitting, we’ll head outdoors to paint en plein air. If not, we’ll work from photographs in the studio. Participants are encouraged to bring their own materials and can choose to work in either acrylics or oils. Find the full materials list on our website.
Meet Your Instructor
David Goatley has pursued his passion for painting portraits full-time for over 32 years. Born in London, England, and trained at Camberwell School of Art, his early exposure to the world’s great painters and sculptors inspired his artistic journey.
